How to connect a BILL account to your sprchrgr.app account
To connect a BILL account that is not currently showing as an active connection in your sprchrgr.app account, follow these steps.
- First, log in to your sprchrgr.app account and click on the 'Connections' navigation link and then the 'Add Connection' button. An option should appear to add a connection for BILL. Click the 'Connect' button to begin the process..
- Your browser will open a new page prompting you to enter your BILL Username or Sync Token Name and Password or Sync Token Value. While entering your BILL username and password is supported it is not considered best practice, and if your password is changed the connection will need to be recreated. A Sync Token is a name and password pair separate from the email and password used to log in. The token is strictly for syncing—it can't be used to log in to a BILL account.
- Here is how to create a new sync token.
- Log in to your BILL account as an administrator.
- Select 'Settings'
- Under 'Sync & Integrations', select 'Tokens'
- Select 'New'
- Name will auto-populate. This is the value that will be copied into the 'Sync Token Name' box on the sprchrgr.app page.
- Select 'Save'. The token will be generated.
- Write down or copy & paste this token before navigating away from this page, as it is only shared one time. This is the value that will be copied into the 'Sync Token Value' box on the sprchrgr.app page.
- Once completed, click the 'Connect' button to successfully add the new BILL account connection to your sprchrgr.app account.
